Why a Personal Finance Site?

Why I'm building a public home for calculators, explainers, and honest numbers.

Most financial content on the internet has a catch: it is written to sell you something. A fund. A course. A subscription. The advice is shaped by what generates revenue, not by what is actually useful.

Daryl Kuissi is the opposite. Everything here is owned by me, published through my own pipeline, and written to be useful on its own terms.

What you will find

  • Calculators that do the math in the open, so you can change the inputs and see the trade-offs yourself.
  • Finance explainers that start from the why, not the sales pitch.
  • A blog for the parts that do not fit a spreadsheet.
  • News briefings that are generated on a schedule, so the page stays current without me babysitting it.

Why build it myself

Using a static site generator with a small automation pipeline means the site is fast, cheap to host, and fully under my control. No tracking scripts running on your visit. No paywall dressed up as insight. Just content and tools.

This is a long-term project. The posts will accumulate the same way compound interest does: slowly at first, then all at once.
